Director of Marketing

MW Company is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead and execute the company's marketing and motorsports strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive industry, passion for motorsports and a deep understanding of the culture and community that surrounds it. This is a key leadership role that requires strong strategic thinking, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a hands-on approach to executing marketing initiatives.  This role will be responsible for overseeing the marketing activities for ALL MW family brands. Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and drives brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Lead and manage the marketing and motorsports teams, setting clear goals and expectations and providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Drive the company's motorsports sponsorship and activation initiatives, leveraging motorsports events and partnerships to build brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Manage the production and distribution of the B2B catalogs and POP materials.
  • Manage advertising campaigns across various channels (print, digital, social media).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DTC, product development, sales, and operations, to ensure that marketing initiatives are aligned with business objectives and that the company is effectively leveraging motorsports to drive growth.
  • Work with the B2B and B2C teams to create marketing and email content that resonates with both customers.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring that initiatives are executed within budget constraints and that resources are allocated effectively.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform marketing and motorsports strategies, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Build relationships with industry influencers and leaders to increase brand credibility.
  • Monitor and track marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and drive results.
  • Manage marketing team and oversee all aspects of the marketing department.
  • Represent the company at motorsports events and industry events.
 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Automotive industry experience
  • Proven experience in motorsports marketing and sponsorship activation, with a strong understanding of the motorsports industry and its key players.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute marketing campaigns that deliver results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
