Accountant

The Accountant serves as a business support person to the plant and financial management team. The position is responsible for production cost analysis and control including cost accounting, bill of material audits and maintenance, time studies, standard costs and physical inventory accuracy. The Accountant collaborates with manufacturing to understand issues and how they affect the financial results as well as educating team members on cost drivers and variances. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 3+ Years of hands-on cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment using standard cost
  • Experience developing bills of material and process routing
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Thorough understanding of ERP system and how transactions are complete
  • Experience in job costing and process costing environments
  • Ability to rely on extensive experience to identify and solve problems

Territory Sales Manager

MW Company Territory Sales Managers are responsible to maximize market penetration for MW Company’s portfolio Street Performance products that include WELD OFF ROAD, WELD Performance, MOMO Road Wheels, Forgestar, ADV.1 and CCW brand wheels, in assigned territory.  Directly prospecting for potential dealers in assigned territory, including cold calling and qualifying valid dealer accounts.  Will be responsible to maintain regular and consistent customer contact to develop and increase share of accounts wheel business.  Record and monitor customer contacts initiate minimum of semi-annual contact with every lead and dealer in assigned territory.  Continue to learn and stay abreast of technical details of brands, market trends and customer preferences. Salary is base plus commissions.

The CNC Machinist sets up and runs CNC equipment to produce precision-machine parts that meet or exceed requirements defined by established standards and drawings. Change over CNC equipment from one part to another within the established time parameters. Perform first article inspections after changeover to ensure part is conforming. Monitor the process and intervene when necessary (adjust offsets, change tooling, monitor feeds and speed). The ability to read blueprints and operate precise measuring devices is necessary.

Responsibility

Develop standard for materials, labor and overhead rates

Create, audit and maintain bills of material to ensure they accurately reflect current components, quantities and process times

Determine cost of plant operations by collecting, coordinating, consolidating and analyzing costs

Perform production time studies, comparing actual results to documented standards and propose changes where needed

Investigate variances between actual and standard material costs, labor costs, overhead costs and work with managers to understand their causes

Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts; ensure departments comply with company policies and procedures for cycle counts and frequencies

Confirm plant costs by auditing cost accounting systems; preparing post audit analysis of capital projects; updating standard costs

Responsibility

Set up CNC equipment and show proficiency in all aspects of use.

Produce quality parts on CNC equipment that meet or exceed established standards and drawings; identify and isolate any bad product.

Ensure work area is clean, secure and well maintained.

Follow established quality and safety standards.

Change over CNC equipment from one part to another within the established time parameters.

Perform first article inspections after changeover to ensure part is conforming.

Monitor the process and intervene when necessary (adjust offsets, change tooling, monitor feeds and speed).

Ensure that CNC functions are completed in accordance with MW Company policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

2-5 Years CNC Machining experience.

2-5 Years CNC set-up experience.

HAAS, Okuma and Fanuc Controls.

Manual machining operations (lathes, mills, drill presses).

Ability to use precision measurements equipment (dial indicators, calipers, micrometers).

Work with tolerances of <.005”.

Must be detail oriented.

Must have fine visual acuity, with the ability to inspect parts closely.

Must have in-depth knowledge of CNC safety practices and use of Personal Protective Equipment required.

Be able to handle machine parts and sharp tools carefully.
